About ArtTracker
Making provenance accessible to every artist since 1996.
Our story
ArtTracker has been securing the arttracker.co.uk domain since 1996 — long before digital provenance became an industry talking point. What started as a simple idea has grown into a platform built on decades of commitment to the art world.
We saw a gap: provenance tracking was locked behind auction houses, expensive authentication services, and paper certificates that could be lost or forged. Artists — the people who actually create the work — had no affordable way to establish and maintain a verifiable ownership record.
ArtTracker changes that. Every artist can register their work, transfer ownership, and let anyone verify authenticity — all for free, all permanently recorded.
Our mission
Make provenance accessible to every artist, collector, and institution. No gatekeeping, no prohibitive fees, no paper trails that fade with time.
Accessible
Free for every artist. No credit card, no trial period. Provenance tracking should not be a luxury.
Permanent
Every registration and ownership transfer is recorded with a timestamp. Records do not expire.
Open
Anyone can verify an artwork's provenance — no account required. Transparency builds trust.
How it works
Register your artwork with a photo and basic details. Transfer ownership with two-step confirmation. Let anyone verify the full chain of custody by searching a unique ID. The entire process takes under two minutes.

Provenance is meaningless without security and reliability. Here is how we protect your records.
Cloudflare security
All traffic is routed through Cloudflare with TLS encryption, DDoS protection, and edge caching for fast global access.
Neon database
Provenance records are stored on Neon — a serverless PostgreSQL platform with automated backups and point-in-time recovery.
Open verification
Every artwork's provenance is publicly verifiable. No login required to search and confirm ownership history.
Domain since 1996
The arttracker.co.uk domain has been held for nearly three decades — a signal of long-term commitment, not a fly-by-night operation.
